Although T.A.S.T.E method stands for The Annie Stern Turning Point in Eating, which is about helping you to get normal and free around food, it is really about helping you to overcome your obsession with your body. Because beating up yourself about what you eat is really about wanting to get total control of your body.

Creating a turning point in eating is body image work. You didn’t care that much about food if weight loss wouldn’t be your concern.

Struggles with food and body are only a cover up for a deeper issue, which is trying to be perfect in an imperfect world.

Changing your relationship with food and with your body is really about changing your relationship with everything. It is not a physical change but a mental change.

Body and food issues can make you realize and become a practice ground for being comfortable with who you are.
