If you struggle with weight I am a 100% sure that you struggle with food as well.
You might be either afraid of food or have a good/bad relationship with food exactly like you can have a good or bad relationship with another human being.
I’m sure sometimes you are scarred to see certain foods on the table because what food can make to you (make you gain weight). Or eating something you are not suppose to can trigger you to have mad/hate feelings toward food.
But food is just food.
Have you ever wonder what makes you feel a certain weight toward food?
What or who makes you feel that you can’t escape from dieting and it is just the way it will be for the rest of your life.
The answer for what or who can make you feel this way ….is…. THE DIET INDUSTRY and You Are The Victim Of it.
WHAT??? Is there such a thing as being a victim of an industry? Yes there is…
Dieting is not really about what you eat but how you think about what you eat.
It is about how you feel about certain foods. You are emotionally attached to a certain way of eating.
That’s what the diet industry teaches you.
And you become a prisoner.
You become the prisoner of your own mind.
From that point you divide food for good and bad.
From that point you base your self-esteem and self-worth on what you eat.
Because when you make decision around food for the purpose of weight loss, generally speaking, it is going to affect your self-esteem and self-worth.
Here is what the diet industry teaches you:
- You are only as good as your body looks like.
- You are a problem, your body is wrong, admit it and fix it.
- Dieting is rationalizing self-hate, self-punishment and self-loathing.
You live in a diet culture that’s why you are where you are right now.
The diet industry is in ever media outlet as you can image and you are conditioned to have a set of beliefs.
The diet industry teaches you that you can only feel good about yourself if you are a certain weight.
And the reason you can be programed/conditioned to have these beliefs because the diet industry plays, relies on your insecurity and feeling not good enough-ness in the first place.
Savor food and live again is about freeing yourself form the dieting culture.
In my next blog I will teach you how.
Hope this helps,
